This peer reviewed piece of research referrs to maternal incarercation and the role of fathers in Australia but can be learned from by people with an interest in this area in any country.
This report is part of a wider study into the impact of maternal incarceration. Findings from research conducted with fathers around the quality of care they provide are examined. They show that fathers were most likely to care for the children, however the children and their mothers were dissatisfied with this arrangement and quality of care.
