Young people with convictions are far more likely than young people without to have children. It is essential, therefore, for professionals to recognise the negative impact parental offending can have on these children e.g. stigma, financial difficulties, mental health issues, and the ways in which their needs can be met. The poster and briefing include direct quotes from children and families and examples of practice.
