NEPACS have produced a new leaflet titled: First time in prison?
The leaflet contains 'Practical information and advice for men and women in custody and their families and friends'
The leaflet contains guidance on topics such as: 'What happens when a prisoner leaves court', 'How can prisoners make telephone calls' and 'What a prisoner should do if they are worried or upset'
Although the leaflet was written for prisons in the North East of England, the information is relevant to all establishments and NEPACS are happy to share it.
