HALOW (Birmingham) provides visitors' centre services to HMP Birmingham and HMP Oakwood Family Pathway Centre . They offer a welcoming and supportive space for people visiting family members in prison. Usually situated outside the prison gates, they are staffed by HALOW (Birmingham) workers and volunteers who offer information and support to family members. HALOW (Birmingham) visitors' centres can include: children's play areas, children's drop-in support, family days, help and advice, refreshments, visitors' helplines, toilet and baby changing facilities, secure lockers and car park facilities.
