Lincolnshire Action Trust are a charity which aims to fulfill the "care, resettlement and rehabilitation of offenders, and those at risk of offending and their families and dependents".
They provide children and families services at HMP Hull, HMP Humber and IRC Morton Hall. The services involve facilitating child friendly visits, encouraging family visits, providing information, running the visits hall play area and enhancing links between the prison, schools and other agencies in order to encourage Fathers' involvement in their child's schooling and life in general. They also deliver a 'Being Dad' course to fathers inside so they have the opportunity to develop their parenting skills. Lincolnshire Action Trust are sub-contractors for Ormiston Families and work in partnership with them at HMP Lincoln, HMP Stocken and HMP North Sea Camp.
Lincolnshire Action Trust also offer Family Support in the community in partnership with The National Probation Service, and Humberside, Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire Community Rehabilitation Company (HLNY CRC).
